Driven by Intelligent Algorithms and Optimal Path Solutions: WIJAY’s Patented Technology Sets a New Benchmark for Pneumatic Conveying

In March 2025, WIJAY was awarded the national invention patent for the “Intelligent Material Path Planning Method and Device in Powder Conveying Systems.” This innovative technology has already been applied across multiple industries, delivering substantial benefits to clients by providing real-time data-driven, intelligent solutions for powder conveying.

    Challenges of Traditional Systems

In traditional powder conveying systems, material path planning is often static, fixed, and inflexible.

Fixed Paths: In traditional systems, a sending tank is typically connected to a designated receiving tank via a fixed pipeline. Changing the delivery route requires manual intervention, which is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and prone to errors.

Lack of Flexibility: Traditional systems cannot automatically or quickly replan delivery routes when production lines switch products or formulas, or when a target silo is full or equipment experiences a failure.

    Low Efficiency:

Queuing and Waiting: When multiple sending points deliver to the same receiving point, tasks must be executed sequentially, resulting in delays and reduced efficiency.

Pipeline Idling: When one pipeline is in use, even if there are closer or idle paths available, the system cannot utilize them.

Cleaning and Cross-Contamination Risks: Switching materials in traditional systems requires thorough cleaning of the entire fixed pipeline to prevent cross-contamination, posing a major challenge for high-value or highly sensitive products.

Reliance on Manual Experience: Scheduling and path selection heavily depend on operator experience, lacking scientific optimization and making it difficult to achieve overall system efficiency.

    Core Role of the Invention

At the core of this patent is the integration of an “intelligent navigation system” into powder conveying systems, transforming them from a rigid “fixed railway network” into a flexible, data-driven “smart road network.”

    1. Digital Modeling

The conveying pipeline network, stations, and equipment are abstracted into a computable network topology.

    2. Real-Time State Perception

Sensors collect real-time data on pipeline occupancy, material levels, equipment status, cleanliness, and more.

    3. Intelligent Path Planning

For each conveying task, the system dynamically plans the optimal path in real-time based on multiple conditions:

Constraints: Whether pipelines are idle and clean, if equipment is ready, material compatibility, etc.

Optimization Goals: Shortest path, minimal time, lowest energy consumption, priority use of clean pipelines, etc.

    Project Application Results
This technology has already achieved successful applications in multiple industries:

In the food industry, it assisted a company in upgrading its ingredient conveying system, achieving precise delivery and preventing cross-contamination.

In the lithium battery materials industry, it improved raw material switching accuracy and reduced residue.

In the chemical industry, it integrated multiple conveying lines, optimizing raw material scheduling and human resource allocation.

WIJAY will continue to optimize this technological system and expand its application scenarios in the field of material handling, committed to providing clients with smarter and more efficient comprehensive conveying solutions.
